Web 2.0 apps and services like Flickr (filtered out on our networks) offer a rich treasure trove of possibilities. Why not do a search on French/Spanish...street or shop signs and see what comes? Go to Advanced Search and at the bottom select Creative Commons so that you get free to use images. Or images with minor conditions for use attached. Like this one, taken in Paris by Yersinia

We've just taken delivery of a couple of Flip Ultra mini camcorders and first impressions are a big thumbs up. Great quality and as easy as an easy thing to use. Point and click and you're away. This could be a must-have tool for the classroom.
