Podcasts - Adding Music
You can add flavour to your podcasts by adding music to them.
Unless you own the copyright, you should never use commercial music. Instead, you're going to have to create your own.
Fortunately, this is easy-peasy if you use some looping software like: Sony Jam Trax (excellent looping software for children cost c£18 at various outlets) or its bigger brother, Sony Acid Express (Free). Note that Jam Trax is currently not Vista compliant.

You can import the music you create into Audacity. Audacity will add the music as a new audio track to your Project. Fade the music down so that your spoken word is not drowned out.
You can have great fun experimenting using Jam Trax - Jam Trax also allows you to record your voice and mix it in with the instrumentation.
