Podcasts - Quick Win

To create a simple podcast you'll need...

1. A laptop/PC
2. A headset (headphones with microphone) or USB microphone like this...

3. A copy of Audacity installed on your machine complete with the lame encoder.
Audacity is an excellent audio editor and it can be downloaded free here. Remember to also download the lame encoder. This is needed to convert the .wav file which Audacity creates into a .mp3 file needed for podcasting.

4. Create your audio in Audacity, export it as an mp3 file and then upload it to your weblog using the blog's publishing system.
